Canada Life to continue providing CPD opportunities throughout the summer

Canada Life will continue to provide CPD opportunities throughout the summer and have announced their programme of webinar events for August. Please find below a brief description of each event - simply click on the event title to register. Each webinar will be hosted by a member of their award winning ican Technical Services Team.

6 August: Best of Both Worlds demonstrates how the Flexible Reversionary Trust works and how it may, for the right client, offer the best estate planning solution.

6 August: The Bond is Back considers what factors should be borne in mind when making the wrapper decision and some of the implications of getting it wrong.

7 August: Introduction to CF Canlife Total Return Fund - fund manager Jason Vaillancourt will discuss the fund’s investment strategy and how it is positioned to succeed in the current macroeconomic and market environment.

20 August: Bringing Back the A & M Trust explores an alternative solution to estate planning which aims to replicate the objectives of the historical Accumulation & Maintenance Trust.

27 August: A demonstration of the Tax Wrapper Tool, which can help you select the most suitable tax wrapper for your clients and give an independent audit trail to justify your investment recommendations.

CPD certificates will be provided to all attendees on completion of a number of questions, designed to test understanding.
