Bright grey: The countdown to the gender directive
With only 8 months until the gender directive comes into force, there's no time like the present to start showing your female clients why they can't afford to put off thinking about life cover. And to help you, we’ve produced 4 new sales aids packed with female-focused facts and figures – which you can personalise with your own logo and company details.
The first sales aid focuses on the gender directive deadline of 21 December. It shows how you can convince your female clients to think about life cover now before the price goes up. But life cover isn't the only protection women need; our other sales aids highlight the important of critical illness cover.
The next sales aid is all about breast cancer - the most common cancer in the UK. It uses our claims statistics and explains the value of our additional cover for ductal carcinoma in situ, an early form of the cancer.
The third sales aid shows the true value of a mum and the work she does around the home. With only 49% of stay-at-home mums* having life insurance, there's a massive opportunity to add up the cost of the chores she does and convert that into life cover or critical illness cover.
And the final sales aid celebrates reaching the big 4-0. Our latest claims statistics showed that half of our women’s critical illness claims were from those aged 40 or under. So if you have women on your books who think they’re too young to need protection, use this sales aid to show them that that's not the case.
