It is our belief that we are currently at a mid to late cycle point for corporate bond investors in which income will be the primary driver of total returns. Given the recovering economic backdrop and a benign outlook for default rates over the coming 1-2 years we continue to favour areas of the credit market that offer yields of 7% or higher.
