Wizard Learning - 3 minute presentation on qualifications for clients

The consumer watchdog, Which? has recently been pressing for the wide range of qualifications available to financial advisers to be simplified and better communicated to consumers. With this and the RDR proposals in mind, we have launched an online audiovisual presentation that concisely explains the current qualification requirements for financial advisers, as well as detailing changes required as part of the RDR process, in approximately 3 minutes.

We hope that consumers will find this simple, bite size audiovisual presentation of use in understanding the qualifications maze in the financial advice sector. Advisers can provide a link to this explanatory tool on their web sites so that their clients and potential clients can get the information they need to make an informed choice about which adviser they use. We will also be making the tool available to any other organisation that wants to raise public awareness and understanding about adviser qualifications.

Derek Bradley, CEO of the product provider sponsored IFA support and education website panaceaadviser.com commented "We support the move to raising standards of professionalism for financial advisers. However, we feel this will fail to have the desired effect unless consumers can understand what adviser qualifications mean and what the benefit is to them as a result. Any such initiative that can educate consumers on this particular issue has great value and I am sure very many of the small IFA firms who use our services will find this a very useful tool to use with their clients."
