New asset allocation

The latest release of the TP System includes a new totally comprehensive Asset Allocation toolset, which incorporates the best tools of their kind currently available. Because it is integral to the TP System it allows an IFA firm for the first time ever, to take into account all of their clients assets, not just those sitting on a funds supermarket or wrap platform and representing only a small proportion of client's worth. This differentiates it from any other tool available and helps deliver even more accurate and efficient service to clients.

The system features an integrated psychometric risk profiling questionnaire, developed by Morningstar which allow a client’s attitude to risk to be assessed and recorded directly in the factfind. As with other elements of the TP system, the data is then seamlessly passed into the Asset Allocation research module.  The Asset Allocation toolset includes readymade model asset allocated portfolio models developed uniquely for TP by Ibbotson Associates, in conjunction with Morningstar to link into the available risk profiles of the client. The system supports asset allocation of new investment funds, or a full analysis and rebalancing of an existing portfolio held by a client.  Prior to rebalancing, the full clients portfolio can be automatically valued, so analysis is based on accurate and up to date information of the value of plans held.  Additionally, values of other assets recorded during factfinding (eg Property, Savings etc) can also be passed into the allocation analysis, to ensure that a full view of all clients wealth is analysed and balanced accordingly.

Using the tool generates full PDF output of researched allocations, and accompanying fund factsheets for all selected funds.  This is saved automatically back into the TP system as evidence of research, making generating compliant evidence quick and easy, as well as generating a “Buy/Sell” list of funds selected, and allocated amounts.
