Data security
As you are probably aware, there has been a lot of press recently surrounding the area of Data Security with 3rd parties being able to access sensitive information which may be passed either via e-mail, conventional mail or even courier.
It is likely that over the coming months both the FSA and the Information Commissioner will be taking a keen interest in how many business (especially financial services) transmit sensitive information such as:-
- Client Valuations
- Client Identification
- Mortgage Applications
- Pension, Life or Investment Applications
- Contracts
- Any other personal sensitive information.
We are aware that many of your clients are concerned with this area and the need to ensure that anything they send will be both secure and read by the intended recipient: to this end, IFAPortals has developed a new application which will allow clients to send any type of information/document over the internet safely and securely, not to mention both quickly and cheaply.
The benefits of using this application are many:-
- 128 bit SSL Secured
- RC2 “on server” encrypted
- Able to handle large files e-mail can’t
- Environmentally friendly
- Cost effective
- Faster than courier
With regard to pricing of the product, we have negotiated a special rate of £20.00pm plus VAT. IFAPortals can set the service up within a matter of hours with the minimum of fuss and disruption, the monthly fee can be paid by direct debit and has only a 30 day notice period.
Please visit the new Senditsecure website at www.senditsecure.co.uk to read all about it and what we can do to make IFA/Mortgage businesses more secure. The website is undergoing final production testing but will be complete by 12/02/2009.
We would also welcome your feedback with regard to the new applicatio, so please, if you have any, e-mail me direct at mark@ifaportals.co.uk and mention Panaceaifa to get the special rate.
Of course you are one of our partners so your members would benefit from the discount, if you would be prepared to do some form of mailer to your users then I would be more than happy to discuss a revenue share.
