Data security

As you are probably aware, there has been a lot of press recently surrounding the area of Data Security with 3^rd parties being able to access sensitive information which may be passed either via e-mail, conventional mail or even courier.

It is likely that over the coming months both the FSA and the Information Commissioner will be taking a keen interest in how many business (especially financial services) transmit sensitive information such as:-

• Client Valuations
• Client Identification
• Mortgage Applications
• Pension, Life or Investment Applications
• Contracts
• Any other personal sensitive information.
