Training and technical assistance continue to sit at the top of the list for IFAs and “Trusts” are ofeten amongst the most difficult areas to get on top of. Last week, Mike Fowler from West Sussex based Spofforths raised the following excellent points.
Dear Panacea
The most helpful way in which your sponsors can help us and our business is to provide training and technical help. Often we are faced with situations where the implications of investing through a trust for instance, aren't fully understood.
Other area of help would be greater assistance in getting whole of life or large insurance policies through underwriting and issued in a reasonable timescale. A one point of contact/ownership of the process is often lacking.
