Panacea progress report

Panacea progress report

We are particularly pleased this week to welcome Scottish Widows as the latest very major provider to become part of the Panacea community.

They join our current enlightened IFA friendly sponsors; AXA, Aegon, Norwich Union, Bright Grey, Scottish Life, Liverpool Victoria, 7IM, Thames River, Lincoln, Alliance & Leicester, Scottish Provident, Abbey, Alliance & Leicester, and Zopa.

For a long time, communication between smaller IFA firms and providers has become increasingly remote due to a continued focus by product providers upon networks and larger National IFA firms in search of volume business at a low distribution cost. Panacea, with the fantastic support of our provider sponsors, has been set up to address this issue and is certainly starting to turn heads. We now have over 800 active community members and this number is rising week on week. The regular contact we have with our community is continuing to prove rewarding to IFAs, Sponsors and Strategic partners.

Since September 1st, the website has seen 233,752 hits (average 2,540 per day), 67,873 page views (average 737 per day), and an average of 264 sessions per day via some 24,361 IP addresses

With 14 such prestigious names seeing the benefits of supporting the small to medium sized directly regulated IFA, (three new firms have come on board in the last 2 months with other major firms already lined up for 2008) we at Panacea would expect that this will encourage many more providers to become part of this unique project for the benefit of their IFA distribution base as a demonstration that they do care, and to gain the commercial benefits on offer by being part of this pioneering project.
