The UK's long term protection insurance market is the third largest in the world, with a reputation for good value products and a very competitive marketplace. But sales in some areas have fallen in recent years, due partly to concerns over lack of trust and over-complexity. Swiss Re estimates the protection gap - the difference between the protection people need and what they actually have - is now at a staggering £2.3 trillion.

Financial advisers play an essential role in helping people and businesses meet their protection needs and the PFS plays a key role in getting the views of advisers across to insurers and others in this important market.

To further advance that process, we have joined with the Protection Review - the independent review of the UK's health and protection insurance markets - to develop a short questionnaire to find out what you really think about the market.

Just click here (link opens in a new window) to answer the questionnaire for the chance to be one of our lucky prizewinners.

The closing date for entries is 5 December 2007.
