Rathbones Q1 adviser seminars

Growing assets in 2020

Back by popular demand, Rathbones’ investment managers will again be considering the rapidly changing economic and political landscapes and how this impacts investments. They will be taking on the importance of ‘digital infrastructure’ and ‘peak internet ’, as well as considering Donald Trump’s electoral prospects and the potentially huge shifts in spending habits as people start voting with their wallets on environmental concerns.

Outsourcing

Over the past decade outsourcing by financial advisers has soared exponentially, along with the scope and range of solutions offered by the market. However during this period the regulatory landscape has shifted dramatically with the spotlight now firmly fixed on the nature of third party contracts and the delivery of client value.

In these sessions we will address the concerns around 'agent as client', giving a high level overview of the potential consequences of this approach for both adviser and client, along with an alternative approach to help navigate these issues. We will also outline our thoughts on the delivery of value and how this can engage with the effects that MiFID II and PROD regulation is having on adviser client segmentation models.

As always the sessions will be interactive, allowing you to go deeper into the issues of most relevance to you and your clients.

The session will last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. CPD will be available.
