NMBA Apprenticeships: 2019 start dates still available
The New Model Business Academy, part of the SimplyBiz Group, has seen it’s ever-popular apprenticeship programme go from strength to strength after receiving further funding last month from the ESFA, and launching a new course for Mortgage Advisers to sit alongside their Financial Adviser and Paraplanner programmes.
Why hire an apprentice?
Working with the NMBA means it’s never been more straightforward to hire and train an apprentice, whether you’re looking to upskill a current employee, bring in a family member or hire someone new.
The NMBA will provide all the materials and learning needed for your apprentice to gain an industry-recognised qualification. All you need to do is go about training your apprentice as you would any other employee.
You’ll be required to employ and pay your apprentice for a minimum of 30 hours a week in a relevant role to support their education. They’ll spend 80% of their time gaining valuable on the job learning, and allow 20% of their time to be dedicated to their studies. What’s more, with all our courses up to 95% funded, an apprentice is a highly cost-effective training solution that can fill real skills gaps in your firm.
Hiring an apprentice can also provide additional benefits in areas such as succession planning, business growth and open up new opportunities for your firm, due to having increased resource.
