SRI Services and Fund EcoMarket news update

As you will have noticed - the SRI/ESG area is somewhat 'flavour of the month', which is of course fantastic news.  It does however bring certain challenges, not least with regards to finding time to write newsletters!

The last few months have been particularly busy, with advisers, regulators, service providers, media and others all more interested than ever before.

The second half of the year look set to be equally hectic - particularly on the events side.   Our event which will doubtless be the 'biggest and best' of its kind - on Wednesday the 9th October, right in the middle of UKSIF's Good Money Week!

We are still finalising the agenda for 'Screened, Themed and Engaged 2019' but the plans are coming along nicely.  We have the conservatory, a large auditorium and four break-out rooms reserved  in the Barbican (London) - with UKSIF, the EIRIS Foundation and RSMR 'signed up' to host rooms.  Around 20 speakers are confirmed (fund managers and industry / issue experts) and over 70 people have already signed up (max c200).  I will publish the agenda once a few more of the speakers have confirmed - but please do book early just in case...

(Incidentally I am very excited to also be speaking at the PFS 'Future Proofing' conference at the ICC Birmingham in November - which might be a little larger although a rather different kind of event!)

So in brief... yes things are changing. Slower than I would like - but going the right way!

As ever, you can contact me on julia@sriServices.co.uk . (For fund queries please contact Su on funds@sriServices.co.uk - or for event details Rachel is on events@sriServices.co.uk)
