UnderwriteMe: Challenging customer perceptions
I had an interesting lunch with a couple of mortgage industry experts this week. I’m going to allow them to remain nameless here, but I’ll happily break this self imposed anonymity clause if anyone wants to ask me privately.
Both men (I’m sure you’re shocked…), one is single, lives alone and is in his twenties. He has no dependants. The other, in his forties and married. His wife has a successful career and they have no children.
Neither man has any form of protection and, more worryingly, neither feels that it’s something they need.
