2018 Rathbones Adviser Roundtable seminars

Following the success of the 2017 Adviser events Rathbones will run a series of roundtable seminars throughout January and February. At these events Rathbones will look at the year ahead from an investment and regulatory perspective.

Both of these key areas are facing huge amounts of change that will deliver significant challenges for both your businesses and clients. However with the threats come opportunities – understanding these and the often unintended consequences they create will help you to not only navigate these challenges but shape your business for success in 2018.

Below is a brief overview of the areas Rathbones will look to cover and some event details:

Growing assets in 2018
Rathbones investment managers will consider how you can continue to grow your clients’ assets in a rapidly changing investment and political environment. They will discuss key questions like: Will there be Brexit winners? Who will be the next victims of disruptive technology? Can banks survive in a world of virtual currency? And where next for the property market?

Riding the big wave of regulatory change
The whole industry is facing another year of regulatory change with MiFID II, PRIIPS, GDPR and the ongoing noise around DB Transfers to name a few. With so much happening, how will you cope with the responsibilities and requirements across the advice chain, and how will your current practices be affected? Leading regulatory risk-management experts threesixty services llp, who act as consultants to many financial planning and discretionary management businesses, will provide insight and practical guidance on these key issues.

These sessions will be interactive, allowing you to go deeper into the issues of most relevance to you and your clients.
