The event will provide the opportunity to hear from manager of the Portfolios and RLAM’s Head of Multi Asset, Trevor Greetham, as well as two of the managers of the underlying funds held within the GMAPs – Jonathan Platt, Head of Fixed Income and Azhar Hussain, Head of Global High Yield at RLAM.

During the session, Trevor will illustrate the importance of asset allocation and portfolio construction in today’s uncertain environment, outlining his investment process and the role this plays in adapting to the changing investment landscape. He will update on the Investment Clock, a model linking the performance of various investments with the economic cycle, offering his outlook for various asset classes.

Jonathan will offer an overview of fixed income markets, focusing on opportunities within credit in particular. The RL Corporate Bond Fund is held across a number of the six GMAPs. Jonathan will discuss the role played by credit within a portfolio and outline how RLAM’s distinctive, unconstrained approach seeks to add value.

Global high yield bonds have been an area of interest this year and both RLAM’s short duration and all maturities funds have enjoyed strong performance. Azhar Hussain will outline some of the key themes affecting investors and consider those areas he sees as most attractive.
