Prudential: Retirement Solutions - assisted by technology

Prudential & O&M have combined forces to deliver 37 seminars which will show how technology can aid, improve and make the suitability process more consistent.

Prudential will explore how providing retirement income has changed since pensions freedom came in, looking at some of the new choices in the market and the issues affecting finding the right balance between certainty and flexibility. They will also look at how to deal practically with drawdown reviews, to ensure choices remain appropriate. Finally, they will consider recent FCA guidance affecting the retirement market and also how to factor this into the advice process.

Whilst the industry waits until 2019 for the new pensions dashboard, O&M will show you how to create and deploy one for your clients now. They will also demonstrate how retirement cash flow modelling can be provided for the masses and not just the wealthiest clients. Finally, using the key switching indicators and other additional information panels in their ESP software, they will show how to make the right decisions faster, to benefit you and your clients.

By the end of the seminar attendees will have a better understanding of:

• The changes to the retirement income market since the introduction of pensions freedom

• The key issues affecting client drawdown reviews

• How to create a pension dashboard for your clients

• How to enhance your suitability process

CPD

These seminars are being held nationwide across 24 venues and will each last approximately 1.5 hours. Each seminar will qualify for 90 minutes CPD, accredited by the CISI.
