Studies have shown that when women invest in the stock market they generally do well. However, the majority favour the perceived caution of cash. This comes at a cost, as their savings fall prey to inflation and lose value in real terms. Fidelity's new study 'The financial power of women' looks at the steps they are taking to build wealth, the barriers they encounter and the opportunity they have to make their money work harder.
