What personal data do we collect and why?
When you register and use the Site, we will ask you to provide certain data, such as your name, company name and contact details. We may supplement the information that you provide us with demographic information licensed from third parties in order to personalise the Services and our offers to you.
You have a right at any time to change your preferences or to stop us from contacting you. You can do this via the "My Panacea" link at the top left hand side of the website, or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Who will it be shared with?
When Panacea was set up in 2007 it was with the intention to bridge the gap between Product Providers and Adviser Firms. This stands true today and as such we will not share your personal information with any other third party except to our partner firms, who have a supporting relationship with the Panacea community, and only where you request it or express interest via our communications and/or website.
Our list of partner firms is updated frequently, so please visit our tools & resources page on a regular basis to ensure you know who your data is being sent to.
To enable us to provide the services available on the Site and to monitor and improve the Site, we may gather certain information about you, including details of your operating system, browser version, domain name and IP address, the details of the web site you linked from to the Site.
Security of your personal data
We endeavour to take all reasonable steps to protect your Personal Data including the use of encryption technology, but cannot guarantee the security of any Personal Data you disclose online. You accept the inherent security implications of dealing or interacting over the internet and will not hold us responsible for any breach of security unless we have been negligent or in wilful default.
Communications between us
We may record and/or monitor any communication(s) (including telephone calls or other electronic communications) between you and us. We may do so in order to resolve queries in the future and for the purposes of ensuring security, staff training and complying with our regulatory and legal responsibilities.
In the case of communications by email you should note that as emails are not currently encrypted (and may therefore be intercepted by third parties) and as the identity of the sender cannot be confirmed you must NOT provide any of your security details by email and should avoid providing any Personal Data to us by email. We will not provide Personal Data to you be email.
Access to your information
We review our retention periods for personal information on a regular basis. We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity – please email us at email@example.com if you would like to know specifically how long your data is kept for a particular purpose.
